Chester Cemetery GROUNDS CLOSED DUE TO HAZARDS FROM DIXIE FIRE
Despite the unexpected upheaval of the Cemetery staff and Board of Directors, the Chester Cemetery is open. There is no Gerneral Manager, yet, but the new Board members are learning-as-they-go inorder to meet the needs of the community, pay the bills, answer phone calls and keep the Cemetery open for burials. Our groundskeeper, Jeff is maintining the grounds beautifully, preparing grave sites and helping us to better understand the operation of a cemetery.
Please call our office 530-258-3878, leave a message, we will call you as soon as possible. We are committed to caring for the Chester and Prattville Cemeteries, and have a solemn charge to care for you and your loved ones. Thank you for your understanding.
